About

Kaitlin Roberts is a writer and audio producer based in Berlin. Born in Pensacola, Florida, she studied English at Davidson College. Her essays and fiction have appeared in Narrative Magazine, New Ohio Review, Hobart, Traffic East, and others.

She has spent more than a decade in audio journalism, starting as a founding hire at Gimlet Media, where she produced Heavyweight, Crimetown, and StartUp, and later as a Senior Producer at The New York Times, where she led international coverage for The Daily and co-created Day X and Animal. Her reporting has received the RIAS, Loeb, and Gracie Awards. She arrived in Berlin on a Fulbright Fellowship and stayed.
